For Tarek and Omar, two teenagers living in Lebanon, the simple day-to-day pleasures of their world consist of biking, making home movies and contemplating life. But as their city splits following the first stirrings of war, school is shut down and the two friends suddenly find themselves on a permanent vacation in a dangerous playground. When Tarek meets May, a girl from the neighborhood, falling in love creates more of a challenge than expected, as religious division threatens their romance.
