Contains one of the two basic Core Curriculum required by Oregon Pesticide Laws for recertification credits for the Private Pesticide Applicator License. Persons participating in the telecast for recertification credits were required to answer questions on worksheets for each topic. Five topics are covered in this telecast: current Federal & State laws pertaining to pesticides; understanding pesticide product labels; calibration, use and maintenance of pesticide application equipment; proper handling, transportaton & disposal of pesticide containers, hazardous waste disposal and how to avoid generation of hazardous waste.
