Dear little love:
Jay Orear & Blackett send you their regards.* I'm going to tea at Blackett's at 6 & then to Peter's for supper. I had lunch with P. & Julia yesterday, inspected the house, & then took them out to dinner. I had breakfast with the Infelds.
Orear said that the Americans at the Cambridge Pugwash were all right except one - Katz, a Rand man.
I haven't seen Topchiev yet.
*Also Joe Rothblat
[page 2]
I saw Rabinowitch but haven't talked to him yet.
The weather is nice & cool enough so that I need my sweater.
Peter is his own architect. He has drawn very nice plans. He hopes now to be in the house in December. The contract hasn't been made yet.
He said that he wasn't interested in the high school text. His work seems to be going along well.
Love,
Paddy
