Dear Daddy:
I am perfectly amenable to your suggestion that Prof. Corey prepare a paper on the synthesis of complex halides of Tantalum and Niobium.
I have no furthur [sic] evidence that the bromide compound we prepared actually is Nb6Br12•Br2•7H2O. In order to say anything about the bromide the preparation would have to be analyzed. I suspect that publication of the paper you propose would not preclude one on the bromide, were its composition to be determined definitely.
Love
Crellin
