Dear Mamma and Daddy,
Thank you very much for the books, which have arrived except that Frantz has been lost. Perhaps I can get him back. I am still depressed with the course.
We are well. Thomas is a love. He has grown immensely during the last few weeks. Julia is rushing around trying to get everything done and I am trying to finish some work.
We shall arrive on Friday the 12th on PA 131 at 1300. It occurs to me that we may get there before this letter, but I hope not. Plane arrives at San Francisco at 10:30 from London.
We are rather excited.
