We apologize for being late; + even more so for being unable to present our greetings + love at closer hand.

We have not heard from other then Crellin + Mamma for months. Linda wants her perfume and books. Daddy wants his paper. Thank you for the wedding picture. Next year we can gather together again; we must however, vary the host family if this becomes regular.
There is much to be done before next Christmas. I hope we shall have time for a holiday in the summer.
We are at Julie's parents. It's quite pleasant though a little cold. I am reading a little; very pleasant for a change.
Thomas, the love, is a greater + greater joy. Love + kisses + hugs to you all.

- Letter from Wu Yui-Hsun to LP, RE: Expresses his deep respect for LP's efforts in the cause of peace and explains the efforts that Chinese scientists have made to stop nuclear tests and that the Chinese delegates passed a declaration for disarmament and that they issued an appeal to governments. Says that the Chinese appeal and LP's seem to have the same purpose and expresses hope that the two countries will make an effort to safeguard peace.
