Mama has not been feeling very well, having caught the chest cold that has been going around. However, she seems to be getting better now. Today she has been making apricot jam, because our apricot tree is full of ripe fruit. We have had great amounts of plums, many of which have been eaten by the birds or have fallen on the ground.
Love from
[Linus Pauling]
