Dearest Mamma,
Many thanks for your letters, which I am always pleased to receive.
I am very glad Jack is in medical school. I like UCLA. He wrote me a very nice letter,
rather pathetic in ways, he does seem quite lonely. I shall write him again.
I told you about the woman who almost married Glen. I don't live with her.
The fall has been very nice. A good deal of sun and not too cold. A few days (the past
week) has been very cold and wet, but today is very nice. I wear my fur boots a good deal
though.
Bragg is back. I have seen him but not talked to him.
I am glad Crellin likes the Porsche. I like it too. He must be having a good time. Term
is on now. I have to eat supper. It takes too much time. Too much society here.
XXXOOO I love you.
Peter
