Dear Daddy,
I apologize for the first paragraph of my last letter. I would guess I am being fined for signing that letter to Francis.
It seems to me nickel dipeptide would be excellent. I shall think some more.
You once told me something about telling the way heme groups were hooked into hemoglobin by blocking something with an additive molecule. I forget most of this, but would like to know more. Would you please tell me something more of this? Or repeat what you told me? You show, as I remember, that the heme is in the middle of somehi> the chains by putting something in and looking at an equilibrium curve or some such thing. I would appreciate knowing a your

telling me a little. I am sorry I have forgotten.
Would you please send a couple of the old style plastic hydrogen bonds with Kendrew. I have broken a couple and want to have an 8 peptide chain.
Many thanks Daddy.
Much love,
Peter
