BRUSSEL, 10 April 1953 [Date handwritten]
11, EGMONSTRAAT
Dearest love:
Yesterday was also an interesting day, with a talk by Bragg + discussion of my work in the morning, and reports by Chibnall and others in the afternoon. This morning Theorell is to speak.
I went to a movie last night, but it wasn't very good. I came home, thought about collagen a while, and then went

to bed. I have slept better the last two nights.
Tomorrow we attend the Biochemical meeting, and I go to tea at the Timmermans. On Sunday we make a tour of Bruges. We continue our work on Monday, + on Tuesday I start home. I shall come to La Guardia as soon as I can, and look for you at the Eastern Airlines place. My BOAC plane may be late, of course.
[page 3:]
Not many wives have come to this congress — about 2 in addition to Lady Bragg.
I suggested that the Braggs come to Pasadena a week early in order that we might take them to Yosemite. They plan to do so.
I must pop off now to the meeting.
Love from
Paddy
