Wed. nite
Dear Mom
I received the itinerary this morning. Michael Heindorf, Converse Morille Converse and
myself have just been planning a summer in the eastern United States next summer. (summer of
'52). It would be very droll. I think that I will go on a trip to Catalina this weekend. I will if
Mr. Kieth Morrison can get us out of this hole. But knowing Joe Chadwick, this might be rather
hard. How have your fancy trips in the Skyliners been I continually think of you in a) the sky,
or B, some eastern city. CMC Jr. (my roommate) was horrified at the fact that you were only
going to spend 3 hours in New York. He says that he did not give you permission to pass up a)
Chicago and B) New York. He was amazed when he saw me in Peter's suit. Right now he is
reading last weeks New York Times Magazine. Very droll. I must study. On last Tuesday I
was the only one who passed a French test. Alfred Albert Gorge Pierre Fatio d'Rougement is
going to give another test [?]. I must study for it.
Love,
C. Pauling
(Crelly)
P.S. Please say "Hello" to all various and sundry people who might be interested.
