- Letter from A.B. Biswas, Department of Chemistry, University of Delhi, to LP RE: Discusses his travels after he left Pasadena.
States that he was well-received in all of the laboratories he visited because of his association with LP, being that he worked
in LP’s laboratory. Expresses his gratitude for being able to work with LP for the last two years. States that he was unable
to get permission from the Indian government to work in a laboratory in England but that he will try to do so in the future.
Informs LP that he has joined the staff of the University of Delhi, but that he does not have a good job. States that there
are no research opportunities, only teaching, and a lack of available facilities. Tells LP that he will be looking for a better
position, at which time he would appreciate a recommendation from LP. [Letter from LP to Biswas, November 17, 1950] [Filed under LP Correspondence: (B: Correspondence, 1950), #37.17]
