Application to Lilly
I believe that this is the last year of the Lilly Insulin Fund.
I suggest that you consider applying to Lilly for a 10-year grant, perhaps running as high as $10,000 per year. I know that they are asking some grants of this order of magnitude. This would be for your own work - that is, I suggest that you think of some phase of your work in which Lilly might have an interest, such as the enzyme work, and prepare a brief application to them for a long-term grant for support of it.
