Dear Mom and Dad
Dad told me he was due for his varicocele repair job. I hope it hasn't proved too
uncomfortable. It will be a relief to him to have it cleared up.
I'm sorry to hear about Mrs. O[...]. I certainly hope that her mastectomy was in time. In
a year or so she'll probably know whether her cancer had gotten beyond the field of operation or
not. I'll write her a little note.
I remember old Pickett - the microscope he speaks of is a reproduction of Leewenhoek's
that I made as a project - not very good, I'm afraid.
I think it would be excellent for you to bring Crellin he'd have a fine time.
June is practically here!
