Henry went to bed early. He thought Truman might would win — since he said it was clear that the reports were being slanted toward the Republicans, & still there was doubt.

Henry belongs to a group that wrote a letter to Dewey predicated on the assumption that he would surely be elected. After he visited us he telegraphed them not to send it.
