Fuess, Chemical Sales Division, Eastman Kodak Company, to LP RE: Sends results of their investigation into the nature of Ethyl Chlorocarbonate in connection with the fatal accident at the Gates and Crellin labs. Reports that their have been no other instances of fatalities, and that the calcium carbonate is added as a stabilizer to prevent the build-up of pressure. Suggests the cause of death may have been from inhalation of the vapor, as skin contact should not be fatal. Encloses samples of bottle labels for comparison.
