New York, New York
Dear Joe:
I want to congratulate you on your appointment as Editor of the Journal of Chemical Physics. I learned of it only a few days ago. I want also to thank you again very sincerely for your great kindness in speaking at the Medal presentation. I would be glad to have a copy of your talk, if you could send me one.
The ailment from which I had begun to suffer in New York has turned out to be nephritis, and I am scheduled to take care of myself for some time in order to make a recovery.
With best regards, I am
Sincerely yours,
