Professor Henry Gilman
Department of Chemistry
Iowa State College
Ames, Iowa
Dear Professor Gilman:
I put the remark regarding the O-O formula on page 1867 because on one proof sheet the formula had been omitted. I haven't my book here to check whether it appeared in the book itself or not.
If you desire, I think the old list of general references could be retained, plus "The Nature of the Chemical Bond".
Sincerely yours,
Linus Pauling
