Dr. K. Landsteiner
The Rockefeller Institute for Medical Research
66th Street and York Avenue
New York, New York
Dear Dr. Landsteiner:
I would be very glad indeed to carry out some quantitative studies on the succinic-arsanilic acid serum,
and I hope that you obtain a satisfactory serum before you leave for the summer. Do you also have available the haptenes with which it is to combine, or should we go ahead with their synthesis?
Dr. Campbell and I are continuing our experiments, but I have been so busy since returning to Pasadena that the work is going slowly, and we have no results to report.
Sincerely yours,
Linus Pauling
