Dear Lynn:
Our set of punched cards is now being prepared, and will be ready in a few weeks. The machines will not be here until May. The Fourier series set contains about 70,000 cards, and would cost you about $150 plus some charge for freight. To use the cards you would need a sorter and an eighty-counter high-speed alphabetical direct subtraction tabulator No. 405.
I am glad to learn that ammonium heptafluosilicate is working out well and that you have a reasonable structure for BaSiS6. I trust that your small twin is really over his difficulties.
Best regards to your whole family,
Sincerely yours,
Linus Pauling
