Dear Dr. Landsteiner:
I am enclosing a copy of a manuscript on serological reactions with simple substances. I would be very glad to have your comments on it.
We have not included detailed quantitative data because we are not yet in a position to make determinations of amount of arsenic in the precipitates.
We have some interesting results on the production of antibodies from normal serum in vitro. Our results on your sera indicate the presence of some S-A antibody, but they are not so conclusive as I would like.
Dr. Campbell has now gone back to Chicago, leaving us without an experienced immunologist. Dr. Pressman and I are continuing the work, but we do not hope to get much done until Dr. Campbell returns in June.
