Cornell University Press

Dear Mr. Schaefer:
I am getting worried about the delay in arrival of page proof. It has been two weeks now since the first eighty page batch of page proof arrived. Dr. Hughes tells me that all of the page proof for the Bragg book reached him in a period of three weeks, and I have been hoping that the paging of my book would proceed just as quickly since I am, as you know, being inconvenienced this year in teaching my class here because of lack of the book. Would you let me know how much further delay in the manufacture of the book I should expect?
Sincerely yours,
Linus Pauling
