Königsberg 1. Pr.
Scharnhorststr.12.

Dear Dr. Schoenflies:
I have been making an effort to arrange for you and your family to be brought to Pasadena in order that you might continue your chemical studies at the California Institute of Technology. I have found, unfortunately, that the committees which have been set up in this country to deal with these cases act very slowly, and it has not yet been possible to make these arrangements. I am continuing at work, however, and hope to write to you again soon about the matter. In the meantime, I should be glad to know if your situation has changed.
Sincerely yours,
Linus Pauling
