Box 516, Grand Central Annex
New York, New York
Dear Dr. Wendt:
I agree that it is not necessary to have any referee other than the chairman of the symposium look over the manuscripts for the December issue.
The suggestion that a photograph of Professor Debye be printed as a frontispiece to this issue seems to me to be an excellent one, and I recommend that this be done. Professor Debye's work on dipole molecules was a great contribution to chemistry, which, I feel, has not been any too well acknowledged.
Sincerely yours,
Linus Pauling
