Thanks for your letters.
I have interpreted the o-chlorophenol curves as showing a 22% increased intensity of the weak component as against 28% calculated for 1400 cal/mol ΔH. This seems to me proof of our hypothesis.
May I suggest this action: You be a coauthor with me. Let me put the temperature stuff in, and make a few other small changes, and submit the paper to Lamb. Please answer at once, as I think the paper should be published. The temperature data strengthen[s] it very much, but I can't include them unless you are a co-author. If you have any other high temperature results, let me know.
Have you the second overtone for aniline? We would like to have it very much (or for some amino compound). Mr. Stitt has been doing very well in making calculations on the NH2 group.
