I have asked Dr. Kellogg to have sent to you in quarterly installments beginning July 1, 1931, the sum of $1000 granted me by the National Research Council. Would you please pay this to Dr. J. H. Sturdivant in twelve equal monthly payments, the first on July 31, 1931?

James RE: LP is sorry that Jams is disappointed at not having the job of preparing F-value tables and suggest that Astbury and Bernal should know why they appointed the job to him. The tables are only to include Thomas-Fermi F-values, so James and Brindley's set, among others, will not be given. LP feels that the other values should be given as well. Tells James to take up the question of the preparation of F-value tables with the Committee if he wishes to.
