Development, OSRD No. 1885, June 1943. Original caption reads: "The apparatus is shown with absorption cell in position in
the optical path. When not in use, the cell is stored in the lower compartment of the case. In addition to the above apparatus,
a six volt storage battery is required to supply power for heaters and lamp."
