Course reserves are located on the second floor of The Valley Library at Circulation, and are available all hours the library is open.
Most of the items on course reserves are placed at the request of OSU instructors. Items placed on reserve commonly include sample tests, homework solutions, videos, library books and journal articles. The items on reserve remain until the corresponding class is over for the term, or until the instructor asks to have the material removed.
Students may check out the material at Circulation for either 2-hour or 2-day periods. Two hour reserves may be checked out overnight if they are checked out within 2 hours of the library's closing time.
Items checked out from course reserves must be returned on time at either of the two book drops located on the 2nd floor in order to avoid late fines. Materials may be renewed if other copies are available. Materials are checked out on a first come, first serve basis. Library material on course reserve cannot be recalled or held for individual patrons. See Fines for information on late charges.
