Finding Books in Online Catalogs

The library has many books on horticulture and related areas. You can browse in the call number range from SB317.5-476. You are welcome to drop by the reference desk to ask for help at any time. Our friendly staff will be glad to assist you in any way to find information.

Finding Articles in Journals

  • AGRICOLA -- indexes journal articles, books conference proceedings and government documents collected by National Agricultural Library (NAL).
  • AGRISEARCH -- contains summaries of current research in agriculture, forestry and nutrition. This database reports research in progress.
  • Biological & Agricultural Index -- indexes articles from over 200 research journals covering all areas of biology and agriculture. Subjects covered include: agricultural economics, animal science, biochemistry, botany, environmental science, food science, forestry, genetics, marine biology,microbiology, nutrition, physiology, soil science, zoology etc.
  • CAB -- indexes international literature in animal & crop science, forestry, genetics, human and animal nutrition, rural development, tourism and veterinary medicine.
  • Index Kewensis -- is a listing of plant names, their authors and places of publication. This CD contains all of the information in the two original print volumes and 19 print supplements of Index Kewensis.
