Environmental Sciences books can be found in the call number range GE (6th floor, map ). However, many other areas of the collection may be relevant to your research and interests. You can find additional resources by consulting the subject guides that are relevant to your specialization, track, or minor (ex. Business, Oceanography, Social Science, Zoology).

Environmental Science & Pollution Management (ESPM) - Abstracts and index: 1967-present. Comprehensive, multi-disciplinary index to research articles from all fields in the environmental sciences. Indexes U.S. government environmental impact statements.
Environmental Sciences (ES) relevance: Includes subjects such as agriculture and biotechnology, ecology, environmental engineering, human population & natural resource management, toxicology, and water resources (and more). You may also choose to search only by these subdisciplines as well.
CAB Abstracts - Abstracts and Index: 1973-present. Covers journal articles, conference proceedings and other materials in a variety of applied life sciences disciplines.
ES relevance: Includes biodiversity and ecology, soil science, water resources, organic farming, forestry and integrated crop management, environmental pollution and remediation as well as issues relating to the conservation of land, forest, soil, biological and genetic resources, and nature conservation.
Fish and Fisheries Worldwide - Index only: 1971-present. Includes journal articles, books, conference papers, government reports, theses and other literature covering all areas of fish and fisheries research.
ES relevance: Includes topics such as Fishery regulations and legislation, fish physiology, pollution studies, habitats, species interactions and food webs, biogeography, etc.
GeoRef - Index with some abstracts: 1785-present. Index to U.S. Geological Survey publications, U.S. and Canadian Masters' theses and Ph.D. dissertations, journal articles, books, maps and government reports.
ES relevance: Topics related to Environmental Sciences include oceanography, hydrology, environmental geology, soils, engineering geology.
Web of Science (Social Citation Index and Science Citation Index) - Index: 1996-present. The Web of Science accesses bibliographic information gathered from thousands of scholarly journals.
ES relevance: Web of Science is useful for searching across all science and social science disciplines, tracking citations to specific articles, and evaluating the impact of journals.
Academic Search Premier (recommended general search database)- Full-text and abstract/index: 1975-present. Academic Search Premier provides full text for nearly 4,600 scholarly publications, including full text for more than 3,500 peer-reviewed journals. Also includes magazines and newspapers. Coverage spans virtually every area of academic study.
ES relevance: A recommended database for undergraduates and others beginning a term paper or project. Users can search for scholarly materials, news, and popular literature.
