Clearinghouses not mentioned below still had "unknown" next to their names in terms of planning for preservation of resources (dated November 3, 2003):

  • Adult, Career, & Vocational Education - "all publications and collections of links will be archived at our host organization (Center on Education and Training for Employment, The Ohio State University) and at the Texas Center for Adult Literacy & Learning, Texas A&M"

  • Community Colleges - the UCLA/GSEIS Community College Program will continue to support limited activities. No new URL for information.
  • Educational Management - "will take on a new identity as the Clearinghouse on Educational Policy and Management, College of Education, University of Oregon"

  • Elementary and Early Childhood Education - will archive resources at the Early Childhood and Parenting Cooperative. No information on the resources collected as part of the National Parent Information Network (NPIN)

  • Higher Education - ASHE-ERIC Higher Education Reports will continue to be published (sans the "ERIC") by Jossey-Bass.
  • Information & Technology - many AskERIC resources will migrate to http://www.eduref.org/. No information on Clearinghouse resources.
  • Languages and Linguistics - resources will be available on the host site "for as long as they are relevant"
