The administration and staff of The Valley Library endeavor to make the Library's facilities and collection accessible to all members of the OSU community. Persons with special requests not covered below may contact Valley.Reference@oregonstate.edu (737-7295).
OSU students who have a need for research assistance over an extended period of time may contact Disability Access Services (737-4098, TDD 737-3666) in the Kerr Administration Building (AdS A200).
Accessible formats of library publications are available upon request. Complete the Accessible Formats Request Form available on the web and at the Reference Desk. Requests will be filled within 1-3 working days depending on the format and amount requested.
Library photocopiers are self-service and use a debit card or cash to make copies. All of the machines have enlarging capability. One machine on the second floor is wheelchair-accessible.
Persons who need help using the photocopiers may request assistance from the Circulation Desk during regular business hours. You may be asked to complete a request form for copies to be picked up later. Forms are available at http://osulibrary.oregonstate.edu/copy/form.pdf and at the Circulation Desk. The charge for black and white copies is $.07 a copy.

For assistance retrieving materials from the library stacks, complete the online Retrieval of Library Materials request form or print out a copy of the Retrieval of Library Materials request form, complete it and turn it in to circulation. Your request will be filled within 24 hours and held for you at the Library Circulation Desk. If staff are available, your request will be filled immediately.

Computers in the Information Commons on the main floor are equipped with audio web browsers and screen reading and magnification software. Wheelchair accessible terminals are located on every floor of the library.
In the Information Commons, an adaptive PC workstation includes a large monitor, trackball, ergonomic keyboard, Aladdin Genie computer interfaced CCTV, HP scanner with automatic document feeder, and many adaptive technology programs. For training to use the adaptive technology software or equipment, contact Information Technology Access @ DAS at (541) 737-3671.

CCTV Enlargers are located on 1st, 3rd, 5th and 6th floors in the computer/photocopier alcoves.
A VCR and monitor for viewing closed-captioned videos is available for use. Ask at the Circulation Desk.
