• Rebecca Olson, Department of English, received $2000 to consult the British Library in London to examine appropriate manuscripts in her study of the important role that tapestries played in early modern culture
  
• Tara Williams, Department of English, will use her $1500 grant to complete research at the Modern Language Association archive in support of her research on the value of the History of the English Language course
  
• Susan Shaw, Women’s Studies, received $1500 toward travel to Nashville, Tennessee, to consult with Vanderbilt University’s theological library bibliographer and librarian as she completes research on her next book project, They Didn’t Teach Me That in Sunday School: Women and Reflective Faith ; the book seeks to address a gap in accessible scholarship about women in Christianity.
