Improving Access to Electronic Journals and Articles

OSU Libraries is in the process of implementing two new electronic services: a button that says "Get This Item" and a cross-database search tool (coming soon). The Libraries have also enhanced the Electronic Journals web pages. These new services will make it easier to search and retrieve the library's electronic resources.

Within the library's catalog, you will be able to use this technology to locate encyclopedia and journal articles, web pages and digital images relating to the resource from catalog records.

OSU Libraries provides access to the full text of over 12,000 electronic journals. To access a specific electronic journal you may search or browse the Libraries' E-Journal list at http://mw8xt6bj7r.search.serialssolutions.com/.

We invite you to look for and try these services in the coming months. As with the implementation of any new technology, we anticipate some initial fine-tuning.
