Millennium/Oasis System Outage 07/26/2011
The Millennium Staff Client will be upgraded from our current version 2009a to 2009b 1.4. In addition, the character-based system will continue to have the same functionality as it did prior to the upgrade. The 2009b release has several enhancements and fixes for known issues. What do I need to do?
Millennium users do not need to take any direct action. However, all access to the Millennium Staff Client and Oasis will be unavailable during the time frame above--please plan your workflow accordingly. After the upgrade, please ensure that all functions in your area are working properly. We will be keeping a close eye on requesting functionality and the link to summon after this upgrade is complete.
ALL access to Oasis will be temporarily unavailable. This includes, but is not limited to, the Millennium Staff Client, the OPAC/WebPAC, Character-based system, and users ability to place requests. This system outage will affect staff in the following areas, CDSS, ILL, Public Service Desks, Circulation, Collection Maintenance, Emerging Technologies, and Acquisitions.
