Settting Up an Alert

To set up an alert in one of the Ovid databases follow these steps:

1. Create/conduct a search in one of the Ovid databases.

2. On the final page of the search, where your results are located, you'll notice a table at the top labeled Search History.

3. Click on the 'Save Search/Alert' link under the Search History box.

4. You will be prompted to create a personal account if you are a first-time user.

5. Enter Search Name, Comment (if desired), and select 'Auto Alert (SDI)' under Type.

6. Make selections from the various AutoAlert Options. 

7. Select Save.
