reseach tools :: online journals

The OSU Libraries purchase many electronic journals that are readily available for access. Most of the electronic journals are cataloged in OASIS.

+ http://oasis.oregonstate.edu/

In OASIS

On the right hand side menu, choose Journal

On the next screen, choose Journal title on the left

In the search box, type in the journal name; e.g. Crop Science

If it is an online journal, this box will show up. By clicking: Connect to this title online, you will be led to the journal itself.

Click on the following to:

+ Connect to this title online.

Make sure you read the library holding and find out when the library subscribed this journal online. A lot of times, the library subscribes to a journal in printed form for a long time (e.g 1962 - present, but the online version is just added from 1996 on). You will not have electronic access prior to the electronic version.

You can also search the e-journals alphabetically in the library Serial solutions page.

You can click on this page and look for the journal you are interested.

For print journals, search the Library Catalog.

Note: Due to licensing agreements with publishers, most online journals on this list are restricted to OSU faculty, staff, and currently enrolled students.
