+ relationship
between information providers
In recent
years, agricultural research has become more multidisciplinary, and collaboration
is common amongst information providers. Information providers from different
sectors are alwasy interacting; for example, faculty from a university
conduct research and present the results in conferences sponsered by a
professional society, where researchers from various sectors also present
data. In such conferences, all presenters and participants may interact
and exchange ideas, and establish networks of information sharing. Sometimes
these collaborations also generate funding for more extensive research
projects.
The
societies that sponsor conferences generally publish the proceedings later,
making research results available to related research providers. This
allows collaboration to carry on.
The
diagram below shows the path of interaction between information providers.
