The Search Screen

SilverPlatter Search Screen is simple and easy to search. It is keyword-based. Common search fields are displayed, so that you can check the circle in front of the fields (e.g. Words anywhere.)

You can also limit your search by language.

Reading the record can help you locate the publication, and also helps you find other related terms.

The Descriptor (DE) field shows terms describing the publications, and may be useful to you.

The Abstract (AB) also gives a description of the publication.

If the Author (AU) and Source (SO) fields are highlighted, that means it is a hot link. You can click on the hot link to find more publications by the same author or source.

Also: the Webbridge option allows you to view the holding of the publication. By clicking on Webbridge , you are able to fins out if OSU Libraries own the item, or is the FULL TEXT of the item is available online.
