Module C-1 Concept Mapping
Concept
mapping has been applied in the classroom and has proven to be effective.
It helps you see a fuller picture (different aspects, concepts) of the
topic. Drawing concept maps helps organize and relate concepts obtained
from retrieved information. Frequently, relationships between concepts
become apparent, adding meanings to separate information pieces. Most
importantly, once individual information pieces become meaningful to
you in a collective way, they become part of your knowledge base. The
application of the strategy here is to provide an additional tool to
help generate information.
