assessments :: audience
Before
you launch your research, you need to know who your potential audience
is as well as what you want to communicate.
For example, if your audience
is your professor and classmates, you will need to include scholarly references
in respective disciplines. Your audience also determines the depth of
the information that you will present. Your audience also determines the
depth of the information that you will present, and the voice that you
will present it in. You would not communicate information the same way
to your brothers and sisters as you would your professors, and sometimes
you must appeal to an audience whose politics differ. Therefore, it is
crucial to know who your audience is before you start your research.
