Autzen Electronic Classroom

The Autzen Thomas John Electronic Classroom was created through donor funding to provide an enhanced electronic classroom for library related instruction for students. It may be used for other individual class sessions, presentations, or workshops when available.

The Autzen Classroom provides a hands-on setting with 24 networked PC student workstations and Robotel Classroom Control Hardware. This system allows the instructor to control all the computers in the classroom from the instructor's station, including projecting any student workstation to everyone. The PC workstation for the instructor can also be projected onto the screen in the front of the room. If students share a PC workstation, there is seating for 48 students. There are white boards for more informal discussions and a Smartboard, an interactive whiteboard.
