Using Interlibrary Loan & Document Delivery (ILL)

OSU Libraries pays for the cost of borrowing books from other libraries and providing copies of articles or documents that are not available in OSU Libraries.   This service is available to currently registered OSU students and current faculty and staff to support academic, curricular, and research needs. Services for non-academic needs are available at your local public library.

If you are experiencing difficulties in locating a desired citation, please contact a librarian in your given subject area. A list of library faculty and their associated subject specialties may be found at http://osulibrary.orst.edu/staff/sublist.htm .

Before using OSU ILL, check:

  1. OSU Libraries Catalog
    Our on-line library catalog for material available at Valley or Guin Libraries or in Storage
  2. Summit
    A consortium of libraries from which you can order books on-line and receive material at Circulation in 3 business days (more details)
  3. Full-Text Databases
    Marked with Full Text in The Valley Library Alphabetical List of Research Databases.
