Guin Library Maps
Maps and atlases are on the center-West side of the library. Most atlases are now at the end of the journal display shelving. Some oversized atlases are in cases. Maps are in the large map cases in this area.
The Guin Library map collection includes:
- Bathymetric and navigational charts
- USGS topographic maps (good coverage of the coast, scattered statewide coverage)
- Oregon Department of Geology and Mineral Industries maps
- Oregon estuary, tideland and habitat maps
- Historic Oregon and Yaquina Bay maps
- Historic maps of Oregon Coast kelp beds
- Oregon coastal salt marsh vegetation maps
- Oregon Department of Fisheries and Wildlife aerial infrared photographs of the coast (1993)
