Valley Patron Computers (formerly Express Stations) offer access to online library resources (the library catalog, article databases and electronic journals) and the Web. A three hour daily time limit is observed on these computers. Five Valley Patron computers provide up to one hour of continuous use. Three Valley Patron computers provide up to three hours of continuous use. A valid library card or computer-use card is required, and can be obtained at the Circulation Desk. Computer users must be 16 years old or have a valid library or computer use card. Library and computer-use cards require a parent/guardian signature for patrons under 16 years of age.
ONID-only computers provide access to the Web and library resources, and have Microsoft Office installed. These workstations are available to OSU students, faculty and staff with a valid ONID account. These computers permit saving of files to the network, a USB flash drive, or burned to a CD or DVD.
