Finding Articles

If you know the title of a magazine or journal

  • Search for the title in the e-journals (electronic journals) title list to determine if we have electronic access.
  • Or, search for the title of the magazine or journal in the OSU Libraries Catalog to learn if we have paper copies or electronic access.

If you want to search by subject

  • OSU Libraries subscribes to databases that index articles by subject
  • Choose a database by subject
  • Search in that database for abstracts or articles to match your subject.
  • Some articles will be in full-text in the database.

If you need a "peer-reviewed" or scholarly journal article

  • A quick way to do this is to use the OSU Libraries database called Academic Search Premier and check (as in checkmark) Scholarly (Peer Reviewed) Journals

For help finding articles, ask a librarian.
