George W. Peavy:
Friend of Man, Forester of the West, 1869-1951
George Wilcox Peavy served as the first Dean of the School Forestry (1913-1940) and as
President of Oregon State College from 1932 until 1940.
This photographic exhibit was originally installed in the Administrative Services Building
on the Oregon State University campus in early 1995; an on-line version was
developed and made available on the World Wide Web in
late 1995.
