Subgroup 1 - Administrative Files
(reel 1)
- I. Reorganization, 1926-1935:
- 1 Contains the situation of the students prior to the
reorganization. It includes the number of students at OSC,
details of administration & information on curricula.
- 2 Contains financial comparisons of the state institutions of
higher education; they were used in the survey to illustrate
high costs before the reorganization and were again uses later
to show the amount of savings resulting from reorganization.
- 3 Contains the biennial reports of the U. of O. & the U. of O.
Medical School at Portland, 1930-32.
- 4 Concerns the changes in administration & curricula brought
about in all state institutions of higher learning.
- 5 Contains the basis on which the OSBOHE initiated its plan for
reorganization. It includes the legal basis for such action.
- 6 Contains the defense of the reorganization, as put forward by
the OSBOHE, as well as by other not connected with the
Board.
- 7 Correspondence regarding the friction between the U. of O. &
OSC caused by the reorganization.
