Scope and Content Note

The Library Staff Newsletter is the weekly staff newsletter of the OSU Libraries and provides information about library staff; meetings, workshops, and conferences; and library programs and activities. It includes News Notes, published from 1920 to 1927; the Library Newsletter, published from 1953 to 1966; Rod and Line, published from 1966 to 1984; and the Kerrier, published from 1984 to 1993.

Form of Materials

Some issues of this publication are available only on microfilm, others only in paper form, and some in both paper and on microfilm. The News Notes are available only on microfilm. Most issues of the Library Newsletter are available only on microfilm, with the exception of selected issues published in 1954-1963 which are available on both microfilm and in paper. All issues of the Library Newsletter - New Series are available in paper form and on microfilm as well as the Rod and Line through 1981. Later issues of the Rod and Line (1982-1984) and all issues of the Kerrier are only available in paper.

Historical Note

The library staff newsletter ceased publication in paper form with the 24 March 1993 issue.
