Pacific Northwest (PNW) Bulletins (PUB 6-42f)

1949-[ongoing]
1.2 cubic feet; 2 reels microfilm

Scope and Content Note

Pacific Northwest (PNW) Bulletins are prepared and distributed cooperatively by the Oregon State University, Washington State University, and University of Idaho Extension Services to address similar needs in the three states. Approximately 500 publications have been issued in this series dealing with a variety of subjects of regional interest in agriculture, home economics, forestry, and 4-H. Several publications have been issued in Spanish editions; these are indicated with a "-S" following the number.

Form of Materials

Many of the issues published in 1968 or earlier (nos. 1-107) are available in both paper form and on microfilm; a few from this time period are only available on microfilm. Microfilm reel 2 is of poor quality and more difficult to use, so the microfilm inventory lists only those items on reel 2 that are not on reel 1 or are not available in paper form. Reprints or revisions after 1968 and all Bulletins numbered 108 and higher are available only in paper form.

Related Materials

Records pertaining to the writing, editing, and publication of the Pacific Northwest Bulletin series are available in the Extension and Experiment Station Communications (RG 69) and the Extension Service (RG 111) Records. Some photographs published in the bulletins are available in the Extension and Experiment Station Communications Photograph Collection (P 120). The bulletins are also available in the Valley Library (call number S30.5 .P2).
